We currently work in Cebu and Dumaguete, in some of the most impoverished areas including the Umapad and Tomoy dumpsites, various cemetery communities and Looc village. We work with local leaders to provide preschool education. Our staff hold weekly bible studies and host dental and medical clinics. We also invite poor couples to hear the gospel through preparations to join our wedding campaigns; another benefit to celebrating these marriages is that families receive documentation to allow their children to attend school.
We focus on helping children at high risk of death who are suffering from severe malnutrition. We visit area hospitals that often lack adequate resources or staff to properly care for these children to identify at-risk kids. We secure sponsorship before enrolling children, then talk to their family about joining the program. A child joins only with family consent and sponsorship.
The program consists of monthly visits from our staff to the child's home to monitor the child's progress and provide food, supplements, and staples for the following month. Our goal is to bring the child back to health and strength so he or she can survive under regular family care.
In extreme cases, we house children at our facility to provide constant care and help the family find proper medical treatment for advanced conditions.

We believe in investing in young men and women and training them to become leaders and pastors in their tribal villages.
We select student from the Mindanao area to come to Cebu to continue their education. They study dentistry, pharmacy, accountancy, and other trades.
After they complete their education, they commit to return to their home area to be tentmakers and pastors.
We reach and develop tribal communities through Scholar Tentmaker's church planting, coffee planting, community pharmacy, and livestock evangelism programs in Mindanao.
